Capacitance manometers are characterized by high precision,excellent stability and a wide dynamic range. Capacitance manometers are reliable replacements for many other types of vacuum gauges. Brooks’ CDLD/CDLS gauges combine the most advanced sensors in the industry wilh hígh precision electronics to produce a premium gauge. The CDLD/ CDLS gauges offer excellent zero stability, minimal noise and a fast return to zero after exposure to atmosphere. The CDLD/CDLS gauges are equipped with a 15-pin D-sub connector for outstanding immunity from electromagnetic interference. ln addition, the CDLS adds two process relays for control of external devices. Traditional gauge designs lack stability and repeatability. This is a result of allowing the stress to build up between the electrode and the sensor body, resulting in distortion of the measurement electrode, which can release uncontrollably. Brooks eliminated this problem with the Mark lV Sensor. This advanced sensor incorporates a roller-bearing stress relief mechanism which eliminates the stress between the electrode and the sensor body which causes output shift. This new sensor design gives the CDLD/CDLS gauges outstanding stability and repeatabiIity. Best Zero Stability Available The CDLD/CDLS series incorporate superior designs to offer the best zero stability available: - Dual electrode design to measure capacitance (a built-in temperature compensation which ehances stability). - Capacitance guarding to eliminate stray capacitance interference in the measurement. All of these factors have eliminated the need to re-zero the CDLD/CDLS Series after each run or shift as required with other manufacturer’s manometers. Superior Design The rugged sensor of CDLD/CDLS series are constructed of lnconel® and/or stainless steel. The sensor also has a protective "Plasma Shield" to prevent the diaphragm from becoming coated by process or damaged by the introduction of unwanted substances. The "Plasma Shield"greatly increases the life of the gauge. The CDLD/CDLS Series capacitance manometers deliver unmatched reliability and are backed by a two year warranty.
